I visited the Trees residence on multiple occasion and looked at different units, ranging from 1 bedroom all the way to the renovated penthouses with nice views over Kamala and the hillside. The project is getting slightly old and shows a bit of wear and tear on the outside, with a general holiday or holiday home feel, being quiet and open. The hill to access is pretty steep but has a great feeling of being up and away from it all. The units are pretty square layouts with full floor and ceiling windows so are very bright. It is a little far back into the village of Kamala and feels local, but that adds to the "holiday getaway" feeling - with everything you need on the main kamala streets, shops, restaurants and bars.

Super peacful location during the low season months. The unit I stayed in had great moutain views surrounded by the jungle. Rental rates are really affordable but the upkeep of some of the common areas is a bit poor.

I stay a the trees for 2 years their staff very good and have a free bus to go to the Kamala beach every hour.

It's a nice project but being positioned in the mountains makes it not comfortable to walk around. The apartments itself are spacious and well designed. In general, the place is beautiful with nice mountain views.
Good atmosphere, enough parking

The Trees Residence is a second home for us to stay in after we go home late at night because we don't want to drive a car. The room we stayed in is a studio well-fitted and proportionate. The atmosphere is quiet and non-crowded. The project area is surrounded by gardens, allowing the weather here to be nice. The receptionists are also lovely, and the guards are friendly, taking good care of the residents. Moreover, there are enough car parking spaces. Even if we go home late, there is still car parking available for us, such a small thing, but it means to us.
Beautiful condo to relax

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a sofa, balcony, kitchen, and living room. I love the staff and the environment. However, the place is not easy to travel to because there are rarely public vehicles passing unless you have a car or call a taxi. The Trees Residence is a lovely accommodation in Kamala Beach. It is not too far from the beach. Also, the condo has an on-site restaurant; the food is delicious. Besides, the staff is well looked after. I want to recommend this place for being another good relaxation place.
Located in a quiet alley

I must say that I don't like the location very much because it is in a very deep alley. And if you're unfamiliar with the road, you might get lost. When entering the project, it is quiet, surrounded by nature. There is a restaurant on the ground floor. Even though it is situated in a difficult location, the facilities are complete. If you like peace, nature, and privacy, I think this place suits you.
Perfect place for relaxing

I rented a one-bedroom unit in this project. The room is spacious and fully-furnished with a large sliding door, opening for a natural breeze during the day. There is a restaurant in the project which is very convenient. Besides, I like the location as it's surrounded by mountains, making the atmosphere relaxing and tranquil. However, the project's entrance is in a deep alley. I recommend you to use the GPS. Otherwise, you may get lost. Overall, I am very satisfied with this place.
The entrance hard to find

If you are someone who loves the green, shady, and quiet atmosphere. This place will suit you very well. If not, you should avoid this place as the entrance is quite neglected. The project is a small condo, only 3 floors high. The project has a complete common area, a tennis court, a squash court, and a fitness center.
Condo surrounded by nature

I have been here for many years. My room has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. It is very spacious and divided into proper proportions and fully-furnished. I rarely have to buy additional furniture. There is a small kitchen with equipment so I can cook by myself. On some lazy days of cooking, I normally visit a restaurant in the project. The property offers very high privacy and shade because it is full of various trees to provide shade and fresh air. I feel like staying in a resort every time I'm at my condo. The common area here has many facilities available such as a swimming pool, a fitness center, and I spend most of my day swimming, sunbathing, and doing exercise. As a DJ, it is difficult for me to avoid alcohol. I often go to the sauna to eliminate alcohol from my body. When the weather is good, I will play tennis in the project's court or drive a motorbike to Kamala beach, which is 10 minutes away. Even though the condo location is away from the main road and surrounded by forest, it doesn't make me worried about safety at all. There is 24-hour security here. I recommend you to rent a car. It will be safer than driving a motorcycle because of the steep hill that requires skilled drivers. Apart from this, I can't think of other downsides.
